Camping lists are variable depending upon the scout and the trip they are going on. It's important that your scout bring the important things (uniform, sleeping bag, sunscreen, bug juice, flashlight, etc), and the 'be prepared' items (warm layers, rain wear, compass, etc), then there's the 'comfort items' (snacks, pillow, etc).
Food/menu is determined by the scout patrols before the campout, scouts will decide who is responsible for shopping/bringing food.
