Welcome to Scout Troop 215/215G Fair Oaks, CA

Troop 215 is the Boys Troop, Troop 215G is the separate Girls troop. Although we are separate units, we share equipment and combine most events to allow for full participation of all Scouts in scouting activities.

What is Scouting?

Scouting is a year-round program for youth that emphasizes leadership, community, character development, citizenship, growth, fitness and most of all FUN!  The program is designed for youth in the 5th thru 12th grade, or 11 thru 18 years old.

What is Troop 215's approach to Scouting?

Troop 215 believes in a Scout led, adult guided program. This means that the scouts take charge in troop activities and and guided and instructed by the adults involved in our troop.  We believe in being an active troop,  typically doing at least one camping trip / event one weekend per month. 

What type of events does Troop 215 do?

• Monthly weekend camping trips in Northern and Central California

• Annual week-long summer camp (Camp  Winton and Camp Meriwether are recent favorites!)

• Community Service activities 

• Annual Christmas Tree Recycling Fundraiser 

• Scout-built Haunted Halls Halloween Event for our Cub Scout Pack

• The things that the SCOUTS want to do!

Where does Troop 215 meet?

Our Troop Meetings are typically held at 7pm every Monday at:

Fair Oaks United Methodist Church 9849 Fair Oaks Blvd Fair Oaks, CA 95628

Although we meet in Fair Oaks, we have many scouts from Citrus Heights, Carmichael, Orangevale, Gold River, Folsom and Rancho Cordova.
